Hand-crushed charcoal powder on bristol paper
An abstract drawing created with custom charcoal compass brush. The brush, fashioned out of scrap wood and bamboo toothbrushes, created the fine line texture within the smooth blends. Tiny swirling dots match the style in the skies of current painting works. A style of abstract representation that is consistent throughout my body of work.

16 Hands
Tasked with creating an 18”x24” drawing of 10 hands in a competitive life drawing course, I chose to draw 16 hyper-realistic hands on 26 x 32 paper.
Winner of the SCAD Beyond the Dot 1st Place Figure Drawing Award 2022.
